Southwestern Advantage Foundation’s aim is to contribute to young people’s entrepreneurship education and experience in the countries where Southwestern Advantage student program takes place. Since 2020 we are giving out our annual Greete Poderat Young Athlete Scholarship to support ambitious young athletes like Greete Poderat was. Greete passed away in 2019 when she was just 22 years old.
The purpose of our annual scholarship is to promote and facilitate youth involvement in competitive sports while also supporting their career options. That’s why we support one young athlete with 1,200 euros.
Requirements for applying:
– Age from 15 to 19 years.
– Letter of recommendation from the coach.
– List of sports achievements and sports camps.
– Last year’s grade report from school.
– Motivational letter “How can scholarship help me achieve my goals in sports?”. Please describe how you plan to use the money precisely and how it will help you achieve better results in your field. What are your other financial options if you do not win the scholarship?

Greete Poderat was a special young person who passed away too early. She was talented and hard-working in sports and entrepreneurship. In memory of Greete, Southwestern Advantage Foundation awards the Greete Poderat Young Athlete Scholarship every spring.
