SA Southwestern Advantage’s mission is to promote entrepreneurial education and experiences for young people in European countries where the Southwestern Advantage student program operates. Continuing this mission, we once again organized the Entrepreneurial Youth Scholarship competition in Lithuania in the fall of 2024 in collaboration with Vilnius Tech University.
The goal of the Entrepreneurial Youth Scholarship is to recognize and support entrepreneurial and proactive young people in their endeavors. The scholarship amount was €1,000, and a total of 11 students from Vilnius Tech’s Faculty of Economics applied. These students were offered the opportunity to participate in a seminar where Southwestern Advantage sales leaders shared their expertise in entrepreneurship, sales, public speaking, and leadership skills. During the seminar, all candidates had the chance to step out of their comfort zones and give a short presentation.
The top nominee was selected through voting by representatives from Southwestern Advantage, the university, as well as the students themselves. After counting all the votes, we are thrilled to announce that the SW Entrepreneurial Youth 2024 Scholarship recipient in Lithuania is Mark Kazakevic.
Southwestern Advantage Foundation’s vision is to be the biggest charitable foundation in Eastern Europe that is built on investment principles and helping young people in obtaining knowledge and developing character so they can fulfill their dreams in life. We help European youth get better entrepreneurship education and offer investment knowledge to those who do not have the opportunity. We are working to reduce and prevent poverty.
