2021 Q1 overview

Our goal is to create the biggest sustainable foundation in Eastern Europe that is run by investment principles and supports the development of the youth. 2020 was a challenging year for many. We know that young people need our support now more than ever. 

We love to grow our fund’s assets in the most effective way and as transparently as possible by giving an overview of our charitable projects and investments.

By the end of March, we have donated 8,849€ since 2017. We wish to do 3-4 good deeds a year that are based on our mission to help young people acquire knowledge and skills, and develop their character so that they can fulfill their dreams.

We have fundraised over 65,286€, in addition to that raised 3,230€ to fund one-time charitable projects. We are sincerely grateful for all the supporters and especially our month-to-month donors. Help us to do good by becoming our month-to-month donor.

Thanks to growing our assets, we can support more and more charitable projects based on our mission. So far, we have donated 8849 euros in Estonia, out of which 3230 euros we contributed in the form of one-time donations. In addition to charity in Estonia, we will start helping Latvian youth in 2021. In order to start donating in other countries, we want to raise at least € 5,000 per country. According to our fund’s principles, we direct 50% of the return on investments to charity and the remaining 50% to investments again. That is how your good deed will remain to do good forever. Since 2017, we have earned 8737.94€ in passive income by investing the fund’s assets. Out of that 4,143.25€ has been dividend income, 784.78€ interest on bonds, and 3,872.38€ interest from peer-to-peer loan projects. We will continue investing in low-risk assets that create passive income.

We will continue our partnership with Junior Achievement since their mission resonates greatly with our mission. This year we plan to support Estonian Student Companies Final Competition which takes place on May 20-21 and developing of learning materials for 1st to 6th grade program.

In addition to helping Estonian youth, we will direct our help in 2021 to Latvian youth. More info coming soon.
