We aim to grow the foundation\u2019s assets in a transparent and efficient manner, while regularly providing updates on our charitable impact, investments, and future plans.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"402\" data-end=\"807\">Over nine years of operation, we have grown the foundation\u2019s assets to <strong data-start=\"473\" data-end=\"485\">\u20ac162,764<\/strong> thanks to the support of our donors. Each year, we allocate <strong data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"585\">5% of the foundation\u2019s total assets<\/strong> to charitable projects and scholarships. This approach enables steady growth of the fund and ensures the long-term sustainability of the foundation. To date, we have supported various projects with a total of <strong data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"806\">\u20ac32,569<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"1209\">Looking back at the goals set at the beginning of 2025, we can be satisfied with the results achieved. Last year, the foundation\u2019s assets grew by <strong data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"962\">28%<\/strong>, driven by donor contributions and strong investment performance. We supported active young people in <strong data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1108\">Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Hungary<\/strong> with a total of <strong data-start=\"1125\" data-end=\"1135\">\u20ac9,450<\/strong>, marking the highest annual level of support in the foundation\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1242\"><\/h2>\n<h2 data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1242\">Grants and Scholarships<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1244\" data-end=\"1866\">The <strong data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1285\">Entrepreneurial Youth Scholarship<\/strong> competitions organized by the foundation were successful in 2025. Compared to previous years, more universities participated, and in addition to the Baltic countries, we organized the scholarship competition in <strong data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1527\">Hungary for the first time<\/strong>. The goal of the scholarship is to recognize and support active and entrepreneurial young people, and we plan to continue this format in cooperation with universities in the coming years. In total, <strong data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"1746\">over 80 students<\/strong> from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Hungary applied, and we awarded scholarships to <strong data-start=\"1832\" data-end=\"1865\">five students totaling \u20ac4,250<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-blog-shortcode fusion-blog-shortcode-1 fusion-blog-archive fusion-blog-layout-timeline-wrapper data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"239\">2025 marked the sixth year<\/strong> of this scholarship, and the <strong data-start=\"269\" data-end=\"285\">\u20ac1,200 award<\/strong> was granted to <strong In Latvia, we partnered with <strong data-start=\"320\" data-end=\"351\">Banku Augstskola Foundation<\/strong>, a strong local partner that organizes the country\u2019s largest educational entrepreneurship competition, <strong data-start=\"455\" data-end=\"472\">\u201cBizness 24h\u201d<\/strong>, each year. We supported the event with a <strong data-start=\"515\" data-end=\"534\">\u20ac500 prize fund<\/strong> and contributed to training young participants in sales-related topics.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\" style=\"--awb-content-alignment:justify;\"><h2 data-start=\"103\" data-end=\"135\">Foundation Financial Overview<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"137\" data-end=\"333\">We have set a long-term goal to grow the value of the foundation\u2019s invested assets to <strong data-start=\"223\" data-end=\"243\">\u20ac300,000 by 2030<\/strong>, which would enable us to award at least <strong data-start=\"285\" data-end=\"305\">\u20ac15,000 per year<\/strong> in scholarships and grants.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"335\" data-end=\"541\">To achieve this goal, we aim to grow the foundation\u2019s assets by <strong data-start=\"399\" data-end=\"418\">15\u201320% annually<\/strong>. This requires <strong data-start=\"434\" data-end=\"477\">doubling the number of recurring donors<\/strong> and maintaining an annual portfolio return of at least <strong data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"540\">10%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"722\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In 2025, the growth of the foundation\u2019s assets significantly exceeded expectations. In addition, contributions from regular donors increased by <strong data-start=\"261\" data-end=\"283\">18% year over year<\/strong>, although continued, focused effort is still needed to double the number of recurring donors.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation\u2019s portfolio return in 2025 was <strong data-start=\"427\" data-end=\"436\">12.1%<\/strong>, exceeding the established target. From an investment perspective, we deliberately diversified the portfolio\u2019s geopolitical risk and acquired the portfolio\u2019s first holdings in an <strong data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"639\">S&amp;P 500 equity fund<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the results of 2025, we are confidently on the right trajectory, and the goal of reaching <strong data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"763\">\u20ac300,000 by 2030<\/strong> is fully achievable.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5\" style=\"--awb-content-alignment:justify;\"><h2 data-start=\"109\" data-end=\"136\">Plans and Goals for 2026<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"138\" data-end=\"475\">For 2026, we have planned to distribute a total of <strong data-start=\"189\" data-end=\"199\">\u20ac8,450<\/strong> in grants and scholarships. Of this amount, <strong data-start=\"244\" data-end=\"254\">\u20ac7,450<\/strong> is allocated to the foundation\u2019s regularly awarded scholarships, and <strong data-start=\"324\" data-end=\"334\">\u20ac1,000<\/strong> is designated for partner projects, including <strong data-start=\"381\" data-end=\"403\">Junior Achievement<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"408\" data-end=\"423\">Bizness 24h<\/strong> student company competitions in Estonia and Latvia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"477\" data-end=\"887\">From a financial perspective, we continue to target <strong data-start=\"529\" data-end=\"550\">20% annual growth<\/strong> in the foundation\u2019s assets through investments and donor contributions. Under a positive scenario, the foundation\u2019s total assets would exceed <strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"724\">\u20ac200,000 by the end of 2026<\/strong>. To support this growth, we will focus on increasing awareness of the foundation\u2019s mission and impact among <strong data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"886\">active Southwestern Advantage students and alumni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-6\" style=\"--awb-content-alignment:justify;\"><div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"et\"><em>Southwestern Advantage Foundation\u2019s vision is to be the biggest charitable foundation in Eastern Europe that is built on investment principles and helping young people in obtaining knowledge and developing character so they can fulfill their dreams in life. We help European youth get better entrepreneurship education and offer investment knowledge to those who do not have the opportunity.
