in Latvia<\/a><\/h2><div class=\"fusion-post-content-container\"><p><span lang=\"et\">Our 2nd charitable project in 2022 was supporting <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bizness24h.lv\/en\/\"><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">Bizness24h<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span lang=\"en-GB\"> \u2013 the largest annual educational entrepreneurial promotion contest in Latvia, intended for young students<\/span><span lang=\"et\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Their mission is to inspire young people to start a business and show them how to build successful businesses and thereby develop the [\u2026]<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/article>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 &#091;&#093;\">In order to start donating in other countries, we want to raise at least 5 000 \u20ac per country. According to our fund\u2019s principles, we direct 50% of the return on investments to charity and the remaining 50% to investments again. That is how your good deed will remain to do good forever.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 &#091;&#093;\">Our wish is to keep the Foundation&#8217;s maintenance costs low. The only costs are accounting, web hosting, and annual review by the audit company. As the fund grows, these costs have become increasingly marginal.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 &#091;&#093;\">Since 2017 we have <strong>invested 70 930 euros total<\/strong> and earned <strong>12 323 \u20ac in passive income<\/strong> by investing the fund\u2019s assets. Out of that 5 947 \u20ac has been dividend income, 4 806 \u20ac interest from crowdfunding, 1 122 \u20ac interest from bonds, and 447 \u20ac interest from direct loans.<span data-sheets-value=\"{\" data-sheets-userformat=\"{\">\u00a0In addition to passive income, we have earned\u00a0 6 672 \u20ac from the sale of shares, much of which came in the 4th quarter of 2021 and reinvested the profit to bonds and loans. We will continue investing in low-risk assets that generate passive income. If COVID restrictions allow, we plan to organize our annual charity day and auction.
